Accessibility

We want MugStock to be a festival that can be enjoyed by everyone.  If you have any questions, please email us hi@mugstock.org

Parking :  Priority parking for blue badge holders is available at the Visitor Centre car park, close to all festival events.

Wheelchair Access : The visitor centre complex has been converted to be a fully accessible area.  Many of the paths around the park are accessible with assistance.

Facilities: Wheelchair accessible toilets are available at the visitor centre

Mobility Equipment :  Mugdock Country Park has a small fleet of mobility equipment, including some rather awesome looking adapted wheelchairs available free of charge.  It is advisable to book this in advance – click here to be taken to the Mugdock Country Park website.

Viewing Areas : MugStock is a small festival. The biggest crowd is likely to be around a thousand people. Rather than designate special viewing areas we prefer to promote a “common decency” policy wherein the audience generally looks out for one another. At busier times, our stewards will be happy to provide assistance to anybody requiring help getting a decent view.

Assistance: Our Stewards are volunteers and (as well as the enormous sense of power which only a hi-vis vest can imbue) are helping out because they are basically nice people who like helping out, so please ask if you think there’s something they can do to improve your experience of the festival.

Let us know. If you have an additional need which you reckon we might be able to help with, send us an e-mail to hi@mugstock.org and a member of our team will respond.
