He shared the main stage with Otis Grand during The Great British Blues festival at Colne and recorded with Alan Nimmo for “The four Als” project which featured on the album “Jocks Juke Joint vol.2”.
His clean toned blues lines, sometimes with a hint of jazz, can be heard to great effect on his new CD – Scufflin’
“Al Brown is a breath of fresh air in this world of numerous Blues Rock guitar ***s. His playing recalls a broad spectrum of players, from Billy Butler to Jimmy Rogers, all in his own remarkable style. But, his relaxed and sincerely soulful vocals are the suprise for me!” Rusty Zinn – American electric Blues guitarist
