MugStock takes place in Mugdock Country Park, Craigallian Rd, nr Milngavie G62 8EL – less than 10 miles from the centre of Glasgow.
Whether you’re a weekend or a day visitor, we’d like to encourage you to leave your car at home and consider one of the other lovely environmentally friendly ways of getting here. However if you have to drive please read the important information below about which route to take, and parking.
By MugStock bus
The easiest way to get to MugStock from Glasgow or Milngavie. Click Here for Bus Tickets
The walk from Milngavie train station to Mugdock is via the first stage of the world famous West Highland Way. It’s a beautiful 2 mile walk along Allander water and through Mugdock wood.
From Milngavie via Ellangowan Road and Mugdock Road.

Important: If travelling by car we advise you to drive via the A81. That’s the road from Milngavie which goes passed Waitrose.
Please do not come via the A809. You will end up on an extremely narrow and bumpy road. You have been warned.
Please do not travel from Milngavie up Mugdock Road and through Mugdock Village. There is a really tight bend you would be best to avoid. Also our neighbours are lovely and we’d prefer not to bother them with more traffic than usual passing through their village.

Parking tickets can be booked now by clicking here. It is cheaper to book in advance, and is the only way of guaranteeing a parking space. The car park is 1 mile from site and a free shuttle bus will be in operation throughout the festival to take you there and back.
